The steps and costs of starting Baked by A.K.

When I calculated my startup costs alone, it was the first time when the excitement of starting a new project was starting to get replaced with feelings of anxiety. And this is only the beginning! The list below is all the steps I had to complete to start making Baked by A.K. into a reality. I chose to go with an LLC for various reasons, mainly for the protection of personal assets.

My LLC is Orange County (CA) based. Certain things will vary by state and local.

State Tax Filing $800/year (and that’s only part of the annual taxes, not including the others more to come shortly, to run an LLC)
